WELCOME TO VBA

VBA is a joint venture comprising VolkerStevin, Boskalis Westminster and AtkinsRéalis.  Established in 2013, VBA provides a diverse range of flood and coastal defence solutions, from optioneering, feasibility and appraisal services, through to design, build and incident response support.

All three VBA partners have worked alongside the Environment Agency and local authorities for decades protecting communities, people, homes and businesses from the impact of flooding.  These long-term relationships and continuity of flood and coastal work across the country has enabled us to build resource capacity, capability and resilience.

We have a deep understanding of client objectives, risks, opportunities, social value and the importance of stakeholder management and community engagement.  Our teams engage with local organisations and people to ensure flood and coastal projects promote economic growth, social wellbeing and seek to enhance levels of natural capital within the local community, making sure that each project brings long-lasting benefits for future generations.
